So the last two weekends I was able to attend two very good girlfriends' weddings. The first was Bridget and Mike in New Jersey. Bridget and I go all the way back to middle school in Belgium. I love her and Mike's story because they met over there, survived moves to other countries, did the long distance thing forever, followed eachother to college, and finally got married after ten years of being together. The wedding was amazing. I am a very patriotic person after growing up in a military family so it was especially fun to be a part of a military wedding. It was also a little bonus that my parents went to the wedding so I was able to spend time with them.

Then this last weekend Scott and I drove to California for Mia's wedding. We had to get our student Visa's for Spain in Los Angeles so we went up a day early and stayed with my friend Lisa. It was a very eventful weekend since some of our other friends, Ryan and Erica, had just had their sweet baby Camryn and we were able to spend time with them. I was born in San Francisco and did an intership in San Diego but I still don't feel that big draw to California that so many of our friends do....however, after spending time with all our friends that live there definitely made us wish we lived there too!

Scott and Ryan went surfing in between the temple and the reception and Ryan came out of the water with this nasty seaweed thing.

I so wanted to take her home with me. I could not get enough of this girl!
