Weddings!

So the last two weekends I was able to attend two very good girlfriends' weddings. The first was Bridget and Mike in New Jersey. Bridget and I go all the way back to middle school in Belgium. I love her and Mike's story because they met over there, survived moves to other countries, did the long distance thing forever, followed eachother to college, and finally got married after ten years of being together. The wedding was amazing. I am a very patriotic person after growing up in a military family so it was especially fun to be a part of a military wedding. It was also a little bonus that my parents went to the wedding so I was able to spend time with them.

Then this last weekend Scott and I drove to California for Mia's wedding. We had to get our student Visa's for Spain in Los Angeles so we went up a day early and stayed with my friend Lisa. It was a very eventful weekend since some of our other friends, Ryan and Erica, had just had their sweet baby Camryn and we were able to spend time with them. I was born in San Francisco and did an intership in San Diego but I still don't feel that big draw to California that so many of our friends do....however, after spending time with all our friends that live there definitely made us wish we lived there too!

Scott and Ryan went surfing in between the temple and the reception and Ryan came out of the water with this nasty seaweed thing.

I so wanted to take her home with me. I could not get enough of this girl!

Yeah, after not being in SoCal for 3 years, I definitely miss it. I'm glad that I know I at least get to go this summer.
All the weddings looked like they were fun, and how fun that you got to see everybody. Now you just need to slow down and relax. You're such a jet setter!

Oh my gosh...having you IN my wedding and having your parents there was totally awesome! You are super busy girlfriend. SO, I just bought my plane ticket to go to phoenix for a short visit and I'd LOVE to see you! I'm staying at my friend Becky's house to visit her baby and I'm going to squeeze in a morning to visit my grandma but I'd love to stop by your house maybe?xoxo

You guys are always so busy! I know you are moving soon but it would be fun to do dinner sometime if we are both in AZ... you still live here, right? Anyway, let me know and maybe we can work out a time.

Ok, so I wanted you to know that I read your blog the other night and loved it. It's no fun when people read it and not comment so I came back to do that. Fun peeking into yours and Scott's life! Love you both! FFF!

Hey girl, looks like fun. Traveling is so much work for me that it's good to see childless couples enjoying the convenience of light traveling. I love your place. You are a great decorator. P.S. you have a but load of pillows!
