Family Time!

Beckett and I were able to go to Idaho the beginning of September for my sister Shelby's third baby boy's blessing. We were able to travel with my little sister, Whitney, who also lives here in Charlotte. How lucky is that by the way?! Totally random that we live in the same city but A-Mazing!

Before I get too far, here are a few pictures of Beckett at seven months, just before we left for Idaho. He got his first tooth at six months and his second right when we got to Idaho.

While we were in Idaho we were able to go to my parents cabin for a few days. Beckett loved all the attention and I loved the family time and break from the heat and humidity. It was such a fun trip. We went into Yellowstone to see a show at the Playmill, went on a boat ride with my Uncle Billy, roasted hot dogs, played games and visited with all my siblings.

Playing with grandpa at the cabin.
.....Didn't last long... Looks like my dad still has the touch!
Decorating cupcakes for the "cupcake wars".
Everyone wanting some grammie time.
First ride on the four-wheeler with Uncle Kyle, he loved it!
Back down in Pocatello we were able to go the the Eastern Idaho fair in Blackfoot. The food was greasy, animals a plenty and the people watching was amazing! All around quite the success!

Beckett couldn't get enough of the goats. Kind of ironic since I brought him to the Discovery Place here in Charlotte the other day and he was freaked out by the fish! We'll have to work on that, especially considering our last name...
The three musketeers! Can't believe these "babies" are four now!!
Hudson and Beckett were good little buddies, Hudson will be two in December and Beckett was able to share his shorts with him...they were falling off him, Beckett out weighs him. Yikes! :)
Loving Aunt Shelby's bath

My mom wrote a little "Wizard of Oz" play for the kids while we were all together. Beckett was a little munchkin. The whole thing was hilarious, especially my dad as the wicked witch...quite the show stealer!

Baby Blessing. Baby Dreyson is such a sweet baby. It's kind of unfair because all three of her boys have been angel babies...I tell her she needs to share the wealth!! Love you Beckett :)

Williams Family
Brothers, so sweet.
Whitney and Angela at the Blessing
Four generations.
Chunky leggies!! I could squeeze them all day!
We decided to take advantage of being together and get an updated grand baby picture with my parents... We'll see how long this one lasts!
All five kids.
Scott's mom and Rusty just got home this summer from serving their mission in South Africa, they were able to come a few weeks ago and meet Beckett. It was so fun to have them here and show them around where we live. Beckett is just going through the "stranger danger" phase but was so great with them. He definitely went through some attention withdrawals when they left!

Look who just turned eight months old this past week! The time is literally flying by and I feel like I already need to start planning a first birthday...what the heck?! He is at such a fun stage, I feel like I keep saying that every month...but really! He cracks me up everyday. He is getting much more adventurous, loves hearing his voice and is not quiet about it and still is not crawling (I blame that on all the extra weight he is carrying around :)).

He's kind of like a "Sour Patch Kid"...First he's sour...
....Then he's sweet :)
Monkey boy, we have to strap him into EVERYTHING now...he's crazy!
New trick, sucking on his toes. We're so proud.

And speaking of Family Time... it is so fun to have Whitney and Trey here. We had a little bowling date night the other night. Whitney and I almost broke a hundred! Next time... Watch out boys! :)

My family are regulars at the EISF. You can catch my grandpa in the VFW Beer Booth, and my Aunt Harriet in the food contest area. Bummer we had to miss the fair this year! With school and moving into a new house, there was no way. You guys should go next year, we'll be there. Tortados and tiger's ears for all!
