So I am sure that you are wondering where the heck we are and what we have been up to this last month and a half... Well the answer is surprise, surprise travelling and moving yet another time! While we were in Reno I was able to make two trips to Idaho and Salt Lake to visit my family and help out with Tegan. It was such a blessing to be so close (7-8 hours seems like a close drive to us now...). We were also able to take a spur of the moment road trip to Arizona for my birthday. That was a whopping 13 hour drive! We only had one day there and spent it looking at homes we had found online and hoping they would be as nice as they looked in the cyber world...no such luck. Right back to Reno we went. We really enjoyed being out West for the summer where we could be closer to "Home" (is that what Arizona is?), and family. Unfortunately it turned out to be a little short lived...

Florida!!
Scott's office decided to head back East for a better market in Tallahassee. So after some packing, which we are total pros at, and driving for about four days we made it to Florida! We will only be here for about six weeks because Scott has to be back to Tempe for Orientation the second week of August. Our life is crazy!! I do not blame you for being confused about where we are, I am confused about it all the time!!
So that is a quick little update on what we are up to. Florida is great. Hot, humid, but great. We have been blessed to have good friends to help us along the way and make these crazy experiences totally worth it. We have no cell phone reception in or around our apartment and no Internet...I know it is like living in a foreign country all over again... So please understand my lack of keeping in touch.
Also thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers for little Tegan. She is quite the fighter. It has definitely been a life changing experience for me. It's hard, and scary, and at times very unfair. But her positive attitude and determination humble me and make me realize how lucky I am. My life is good, and I have NOTHING to complain about. :)

wow, you two do have a crazy life indeed. I wish I could see you when you got back to AZ- I think I understood everything correctly and you will be living in AZ again in 6 weeks. BUT I think Jon and I (and baby) are moving back to UT at the end of August. Surprisingly, I am a little torn about the whole idea. Have a good time in Florida and enjoy that ocean!

Florida!!! Wow I was meaning to call you this week to catch up on your life and my gosh are you busy! I am busy myself...I got a puppy and now I totally regret it! He is super cute but man the accidents...ugh. What really frustrates me is that he isn't interested in eating. He's too distracted with his new world to really care about food. Luckily I have been able to keep up with you guys, but boy are you guys exhausting. If we miss you we just go through your luggage in our garage and put on your clothes and pretend to be you...okay we don't, can you imagine how creepy that would be?
All this chaos makes for great stories for your kids...if you do have kids, if not we'll tell our kids about crazy uncle scott and aunt kirby who aren't really their aunt and uncle but since they will live next door it will seem like it.
Oh and since you won't have kids, you'll have A LOT of disposible income that we benefit from.
Good job on the update, but lame that there were no pictures! I am glad you have a positive attitude and I hope things work out for you guys there for the next 6 weeks. Hopefully we will get a visit to the Smart's in that crazy mixed up life of yours! We love you guys! And good luck selling!
I'm with Erica... no pictures?!?! You're working on your tan these days right? Seriously, I need some pics. That being said, I'm glad to know that you're feeling good in Florida. Hopefully everything keeps going well and you'll be back "home" in no time!
Missing you this summer! Sure wish you guys lived here. Our blasted pool is still not fixed in the complex, so we are pretty much house hermits due to the heat. Call me if you are ever bored! :)

hey crazy lady, how do you keep up? We were just in Orlando, I wish I had known you were there we could have gotten together! It is beautiful there, but definitely hot and humid! Have fun and get a good little sun tan!

Florida sounds awesome! I hope this doesn't mean that moving to Hawaii is off the table now. When are you guys coming to visit again!?
